I like the general motive behind the "Occupy" movements springing up around the county. That motive, it seems to me, is to send the clear and unhappy message that U.S. Citizens are really hurting now-a-days; we're all going downhill fast; even those who'd rather think different — we're suffering from unrestrained corporate greed; a government in detestible squabbling gridlock; extreme polarization of wealth and poverty; and the catastrophic demise of natural resources. The dominos ARE falling kiddo! If you don't see it, it is just because it hasn't reached your lovely doorstep yet. But the "sludge" is coming!

Why? Shit, just follow the money! It is always about the money.

Do everyone of us a very big favor: Occupy-if-you-wish; Protest polarization! Do it... but then Get the money OUT! Get it out of political campaigns entirely! Go to "getthemoneyout.com" and sign the petition! Work to send every lobbyist down the hall, and out the door. Adopt the three-teir-choice election system. And Recycle dogone it!

Art isn't something we just hang on a wall today. Art is the act of cleaning up the mess... the paper and plastic at your feet; the poverty and poor schools in your town; the individuals you elect (check out www.billmonning.org); the country you call home; and the way you think about your fellows.

TRY THIS ON TOO: You want to realize a wholesale miracle right now; any time of day or night? Do something for someone in need. Then absolutely; positively do NOT let them know you did it! Your heart will soar, and you'll become a "soul artist". Make things better; and don't claim credit for your efforts. Do you wanna be right; or do you wanna be happy? Well then, be the artist you are inside... create; don't denegrate.
